Kemal has been a Colchester resident for the last 12 years, and has a track record of hard work for his local community.
He volunteered at the Law Clinic of the University of Essex, providing free legal advice to Colchester residents. He also led a successful campaign against the use of glyphosate pesticide in parks and near to children’s’ play areas and has pushed the Council to tackle anti-social behaviour and hold more regular meetings of the Crime and Disorder Committee.
Kemal was awarded the Big Essex Award after volunteering with Redress, the Prisoners Advice Service, Inside Justice and Amnesty International, and we could not be prouder to have him as our Colchester Green Party candidate in Castle Ward.
