On Mon 2nd September 2019, at the Colchester Green Party AGM, a new Executive Committee was elected for a year’s term to oversee the business of the local party and steer the direction and strategy into 2020. 

10 local members were selected to fulfil a variety of positions, such as policy development, campaigns, communications, along with other administration roles. 

Newly-elected coordinator Blake Roberts, said: “After the most successful year in our history, where we won our first council seat on Colchester Borough Council and helped to return the first Green MEP to the European Parliament for the Eastern Region, Colchester Greens are flying high.” 

“Our new Executive Committee is fresh, driven, passionate and ambitious. We’re ready to the hit the ground running and get more and more Greens elected over the coming years.”
