I am standing in this election to give residents a choice. I am against the new town  and strived for 6 years to prevent it and its detrimental effect on us.  The new town does not represent residents wishes and I felt I had to stand. I sat on the Town Council for 10 years and am a former Mayor of Wivenhoe, a position I feel privileged to have held. Professionally I have worked across Local Govt since 2003 and bring a wealth of sector specific knowledge to residents. Most importantly me and my family are members of our community and I would never betray it.

As WTC Chair of Planning I helped with successfully implementing the Wivenhoe Neighbourhood Plan which protects us from unwelcome speculative development. I am a father of three and have lived in Wivenhoe for over 25 years.
