Colchester Green Party members were busy at Colchester’s Eco-Festival on September 3rd and helped make the event a great success again. Greens were helping out on a variety of stalls, including Pesticide Free Essex, the bike kitchen and frock swap. Councillor Mark Goacher was a sponsor of the event and had a stall based around promoting the international campaign to make ecocide a crime, as well as running a free kids’ tombola and giving a talk on how to create a wildlife garden. Mark states:

“It was a really great event, busier than last year with many people coming up for a chat or to find out more about green issues. It was fantastic to see so many people of all ages there”.
